Driver Setup Tutorial

After setting up your 3D hardware, please startup your computer. After startup, please download the latest iZ3D drivers from www.iz3d.com/driver. (If you are having issues with hardware setup, please contact your hardware provider.)

Step 1: Double click on the iZ3DDriverSetup.exe.

Step 2: When the Microsoft Security Warning appears, click “Run”.

Step 3: When the iZ3D Driver Setup window appears, click “Next”.

Step 4: Accept the “End User License Agreement” and click “Next”.

Step 5: This window will show the iZ3D Changelog, a journal of the changes the iZ3D Team has made to all driver versions. Click “Next” to continue.

Step 6: The next step will ask you where you would like to install the iZ3D Driver. Recommended settings are already put in place; however, if you would like to change its location, please do so here.

Step 7: When selecting components on this next step, please read the following definitions of each.

iZ3D DirectX Driver – This will install the iZ3D Output, Anaglyph Output, and ATI DLP 3D Output
OpenGL QB Driver for iZ3D – This will install the OpenGL Quad Buffer Output. (Must have iZ3D connected to use.)
Anaglyph DirectX Driver – This will install the Free Anaglyph Driver for use with various color glasses, such as Red/Cyan.
Full Installation – This will install all iZ3D outputs, including Interlaced (Zalman), side by side, and many others.
Custom Installation – You may choose which components will be installed.

Step 8: iZ3D recommends you make a Start Menu Folder for the iZ3D Control Center. If you do not want this, please check the “Don’t create a Start Menu Folder” and click “Next” to continue.

Step 9: After reviewing the “Ready to Install” step, please click “Install” to continue, or “Back” to make changes.

Step 10: If you are NOT using an iZ3D monitor, you will receive the following error. Please follow the instructions in the error to change the output method.

Step 11: You have now installed the iZ3D Driver. iZ3D recommends you “Run the Control Center”. Click “Finish” to end your installation.

Step 12: After the iZ3D Control Center opens, please set your appropriate output. Continue to the “Activate your iZ3D Driver License” tutorial. (If you are using an iZ3D monitor, you are now finished and ready to play in 3D!)
